Happy Mothers' Day!
It's a day when every child has something good (usually) to say about their Mothers.
Siblings have plenty to say about their Sisters too.
Ironically, it's a day when Husbands have either of two things to say about mothers-in-law:
1. Thank you for breeding my Wife!
2. I wish you had had no influence on my Wife!
Well, I wouldn't be saying this almost every year at Mother's Day but I'll say it again,
"This day is for us to celebrate mothers who are true mothers- sacrificial, caring, supportive. We thank you all.
I propose though, that we have another day for other mothers who thinks that motherhood is all about child-birth.
How more wrong can these ones be?
I pray that God will touch the hearts of those struggling mothers who have left their duties to others.
When boys meet your daughters, they should glorify God for you, for your product (your daughter)
Some of our mothers have missed it.
May they be found! We will keep praying for these ones.
Those whom Bishop T.D Jakes refer to as 'those who turn out their daughters to fight the battle of their past by instigating them against their own Husbands. Using your daughters to fight men because of what your own Husband has done to you'
We do not intend to run you down or condemn you, we are wishing that you would notice that black is black, white is white, wrong is wrong, good is good etc.
U are not hidden!
Our prayers are with you!
And for those very special Mothers who have looked beyond their present sacrifices into the Matriarchal throne, we love and adore you.
May you finish well and eat the fruits of your labour.
